The Association has called a two-day transport strike for Monday and Tuesday, demanding action against those involved in physically assaulting driver Rampritam Mishra of the bus (Na.2Kha.4037) plying on the Jaleswor-Janakpur route. As a result, passenger buses plying to Jaleswor, Bhittamod, Aurahi, Samsri and Gaushala have been affected.

Driver Mishra is undergoing treatment at the Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar.
