Transport Management Office collects Rs 233 million in revenue

NAWALPARASI, April 16: The Transport Management Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Sustapurba), has collected more than Rs 233 million in revenue during the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2025/26. 



The Chief of Office, Tek Bahadur Nepali, stated that the revenue amount was collected under different headings, including vehicle tax, driving license, vehicle registration and others.

According to Office Chief Nepali, Rs 192.42 million was collected in vehicle tax, Rs 37.49 million in driving license and vehicle registration, Rs 2.32 million from income revenue of the transportation sector, and Rs 771,528 was received from other administrative service fees during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.  


Office Chief Nepal claimed that the Office launched a special campaign in the Nepali month of Chaitra to make the tax collection efforts systematic and effective. He said that revenue collection has increased thanks to the prompt and transparent service delivery.


The Office had collected more than Rs 235.4 million in revenue in the last fiscal year 2024/25.
