KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Tourism entrepreneurs have asked Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jitendra Narayan Dev to improve the aviation sector of the country for the development of the tourism sector.
At a meeting with the minister, organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Sunday, entrepreneurs raised their concerns and gave suggestions for the development of the tourism sector.

The entrepreneurs requested the minister to better manage the airports, highways, and vehicular traffic around tourist destinations. They also asked the minister to bring promotional programs to attract more tourists into the country.
The entrepreneurs also requested the minister to take initiatives to end the issues related to exchange of Indian currency within the country.
They drew the attention of the minister toward tourism potentials of far-west and mid-west regions of Nepal.
Responding to the entrepreneurs concerns and suggestions, minister Dev committed to utilize all the resources to develop the tourism sector and improve the aviation sector of the country.
He also requested the entrepreneurs to work together toward generating more investments within the country.
