Aviation minister requests UAE to invest in Nepal’s tourism and aviation sector

KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai has requested the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to invest in Nepal’s tourism and aviation sector.

In a meeting with the ambassador of the UAE to Nepal, Saeed Hamdan Al Naqei on Sunday, Minister Bhattarai requested the government and businesspersons of the UAE to make investments in the aviation sector of Nepal. Complimenting the coordination provided by the UAE government during the repatriation of Nepali migrant workers due to COVID-19, he requested the ambassador to maintain the coordination and collaboration in the days to come.


In response to Naqei’s request to add flights between the two countries, Minister Bhattarai showed positive commitment and said that decisions will be made shortly.
