KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Kedar Timsina has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the America-Nepal Helping Society (ANHS).
Timsina, who is also a former chairman of the board of trustees of ANHS, was elected unopposed as chairman for 2023-2028. On the occasion of the Deusi Bhailo program on November 11, , the election committee announced a committee of seven people including him.

The election committee has declared that all candidates were elected unopposed and subsequently administered the oath of office. The newly elected chairman, Timsina, expressed his commitment to inclusivity and pledged to play a pivotal role in the advancement and growth of the organization. He emphasized giving paramount importance to the dignity of the organization.
In the newly elected committee, Rom Gyawali has been elected as the vice president, Uttam Gautam as the secretary and Mohan Bastakoti as the treasurer. Also, Rojina Regmi, Indra Shrestha and Babu Ram Sharma have been elected as committee members.
ANHS, established in 2008 in the city of Manassas, Virginia, USA, is considered to be one of the most active non-profit social organizations in the United States.
This organization has been continuously conducting various programs in the community. The organization also played a good role in the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. After the earthquake, many relief materials arrived in Nepal and the money collected was also given to the victims of the earthquake through the Nepali embassy.
