BARDIYA, Sept 9: A 52-year-old woman has died after being attacked by a tiger while she was collecting green fodder for her cattle in the forest at Dhanura in Madhuban Municipality-3 of Bardiya.
Kali Banshi was cutting grass in the Samjhana community forest when she came under attack by a wild tiger and was killed on Friday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Hikmat Bahadur Bohara of District Police Office, Bardiya.
Human-Tiger Coexistence Amidst Rising Tiger Population
The fatal incident took place on an international biological route connecting Bardiya National Park to Katarniaghat conservation area of India.
