TSC acting president Arun Man Joshi and Asian Distillery's Raj Bahadur Shah signed a memorandum of understanding amid a programme organized in the capital.
The club will be entitled Ruslan Vodka Three Star Club until the contract expires.Apart from the sponsoring the club, Asian Distillery also aims to run a school camp at different corners of the country where TSC's players will be training school kids as part of its social corporate responsibility.
Asian Distillery, which also supports major football tournaments outside Kathmandu like Simara Gold Cup and Mai Valley Gold Cup in Ilam to name some, also aims to contribute in the development of regional football by organizing friendly matches between the local clubs and TSC in regular basis.
"We are elated to join hands with one of the biggest football club in the country. This deal is made to contribute in the development of the most popular game here," said Raj Bahadur Shahi, speaking for Asian Distillery.
"What makes this deal special is that we both TSC and Asian Distillery are based in Lalitpur. And it's also the matter of pride for us being associated with TSC. We are passionate about football and we can learn a great deal like team spirit, dependency, leadership and others from football to be a successful company," added Raj.
TSC acting president Arun said that this sponsorship will be instrumental for TSC in scaling new heights.
"We would like to humbly thank Asian Distillery for this support. We believe that this deal will help us winning more trophies. This deal will not only help TSC but also in the development of football in the country," he said.
He further added that only through the support of corporate organizations, development of sports in the country will spur.
