KATHMANDU, June 20: A-Division outfit Tribhuvan Army Club on Tuesday signed a sponsorship deal with Bajaj Pulsar worth Rs 2.5 million per year for three years.
Nepal Army's Major General Dev Kumar Subedi and Hansraj Hulaschand Co Private Limited's Deputy General Manager Yogain Gurung exchanged MoU amidst a function organized in the capital. Hansraj Hulaschand is the authorized distributor and manufacturer of Pulsar motorcycles in Nepal.
As per the agreement, Bajaj will provide sporting kits worth Rs 7.5 million to the men's and women's football teams of Army for three years.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Shekhar Golchha, managing director of Hansraj Hulaschand Co, said that it was a proud moment for his company to sponsor Army's teams.

“We feel proud to support Nepali sports. We sponsor Pulsar Sports Award every year and now we are connected with the Army teams which has bagged numerous domestic tittles. We are really happy about this,” said Golchha.
Meanwhile, Major General Subedi said that the sponsorship from Pulsar will inspire the Army's teams to do better in domestic tournaments. “We want to thank Pulsar and Hansraj Hulaschand Company for this support. Hopefully it will help us to achieve more in Nepali football,” said Subedi.
