KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Everest Premier League outfit Chitwan Tigers has signed a sponsorship deal with Tensberg, a leading Lager Beer of Nepal, for the upcoming third season of the TVS Everest Premier league which is set to be held from December 8 to 22 in TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
Tensberg is sponsoring the Tigers with an aim to promote sport culture in Nepal with this association, it said in a press release.
Manage tiger-human conflict to save tigers
At a function organized in Kathmandu, Tensberg wished success of the team in the tournament and said that the growing craze of cricket in Nepal with different tournaments being organized, Tensberg has also decided to join the cricket craze by associating with Chitwan Tigers as main sponsor for the forthcoming season.
Chitwan Tigers is going to play in the tournament under the captaincy of Prithu Baskota, with some other key players including Dipendra Singh Airee, Paul Stirling from Ireland John Simpson and George Scott from England.
