KATHMANDU, Jan 8: All Nepal Table Tennis Association (ANTTA) has announced a sponsorship deal with Huawei Mobile’s authorized dealer for Nepal, Call Mobility, on Sunday. Huawei’s country director for Nepal Joyas Zhu and ANTTA’s president Chaturananda Raj Baidya signed the agreement. According to the agreement, Call Mobility will sponsor the 39th table tennis event under National Sports Council Cup to be organized by Kathmandu Table Tennis Association from Jan 10. Call Mobility will provide Rs 500,000 for the competition. Total 45 teams including departmental teams and 300 players from different districts will participate in the event that will run from Jan 10 to 13 at National Table Tennis Training Center, Lainchaur, Kathmandu. The table tennis competition will be played under seven different categories, including men’s and women’s single, men’s and women’s double, men’s and women’s team events, and mixed doubles.
