Police said the crooks robbed around Rs 40,000 and some other belongings from the trio.
The victims were rescued by the police at Rupaidiya Post with the help of Indian Police and they are being treated in Bheri Zonal Hospital.
Nepali workers are frequently robbed in the Indian land and even at the border by Indian looters.
In the past four months, around 100 Nepalis from Mid and Far-Western Region including -- Banke, Bardia, Dang, Salyan, Jajarkot, Pyuthan, Humla, Jumla, Bajhang, Bajura, Dailekh, Surkhet, Rolpa and Rukum --- have been robbed of cash and goods on the Indian side of the border while returning home.
According to Jamunaha Border Police Post chief Pramod Kshetri, Nepalis are looted after making them unconscious by offering them with toxic foods and liquors. He said Nepalis are are also robbed at gunpoint in some cases.
After getting robbed, most Nepalis return back to their work places in India without reaching home as they do not like to go home empty-handed, the police said.
