Youth robbed of 11 tolas gold in New road

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: A gang of three unidentified persons aged 15-16 years robbed an Indian national of 11 tolas gold on Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: A gang of three unidentified persons aged 15-16 years robbed an Indian national of 11 tolas gold on Sunday.



According to police, Sagar Chand, 15, of Kolkata, India was walking at a narrow alley near Sankata Temple, New road, with the precious yellow metal when the gang made off with the gold.



Chand was carrying the gold from B. United Gold Mart, a jewelry shop, for polishing, police said.



The haul fetches over Rs 600,000 in the domestic market.
