KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Police have arrested three more people in connection with betting in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday.
Hobindra Bogati, Superintendent of Police and spokesperson for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) said that a team of the CIB has arrested three people from Kirtipur Cricket Ground.

Earlier, police had arrested four Indian nationals on charges of betting in the NPL. A team from the CIB arrested two people on December 2 and two more on December 3.
SP Bogati said that they have been accused of betting through online betting apps such as sport betting and Probo. An investigation has been initiated against the arrested persons for the offense of organizing illegal betting.
