KATHMANDU, Nov 7: A Nepali national was arrested on charges of betting on an Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match at two separate instances, several Indian media reported.
The Gurugram Police on Friday arrested seven men including a Nepali national, on charges of betting on Indian Premier League (IPL) matches being organized in the United Arab Emirates.

The arrested Nepali national has been identified as Raju Thapa, according to Indian media reports.
The accused were arrested from Emaar Palm Terrace Select Apartment in Sector-66 in Gurugram.
The Gurugram Police have also recovered 26 mobile phones, one laptop, one phone charger, one laptop charger, one register, and one calculator from their possession.
A case has been registered against the suspects at Sector-65 police station in Gurugram.
