KATHMANDU, April 22: Normal life was badly affected in several Tarai districts including Chitwan, Bara and Parsa on Wednesday due to the fresh general strike called by the Tharuhat Joint Struggle Committee (TJSC), demanding the government to implement the sixpoint agreement reached with the Tharu bodies last month. Our Chitwan correspondent reported that agitating Tharu activists torched two vehicles in Padampur area of Chitwan for defying their strike. The vehicles were completely destroyed in the fire.
