KATHMANDU, Nov 12: General Secretary of Nepali Congress, Gagan Kumar Thapa, has expressed his commitment to resolve the flood-related problem created by Khaharekhola in Kapan area within the next two years.
At a door-to-door program organized on Friday, Thapa, the Left-Democratic Alliance candidate for House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency-4, said activities to resolve the problems of Khaharekhola have already been started and it would be resolved in the coming two years.

Thapa added that he would not come to ask for votes next time if the problems created from Khaharekhola are not resolved.
Leader Thapa urged the voters to vote for him in order to support him in his campaign, adding more than one billion rupees has already been allocated to resolve the problems of flood.
Thapa further said that a proposal 'Dhobi Khola Corridor Kapan-Budhanilkantha Inundation Control Project' has been forwarded to troubleshoot the flood caused problems.
