KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The British College organized its first edition of Academic Guest Lecturer Series at the college premises. According to the press statement released by The British College, Chairman of CE Group of Companies Bijay Rajbhandari gave the first lecture during the event. 


Rajbhandari, a successful business person and philanthropist, motivated and inspired the students with his lecture. Guest lecturer series is perceived as an integral part of students’ learning experience at leading business schools across the globe.

The press statement quoted Subhajit Sanyal, Master’s Program Leader at The British College saying, “There is a growing need to bring eminent speakers from the business industry with proven track records in order to help Management students and to develop an insight into the world of business. In the wake of the cataclysmic upheaval brought about by the ever changing business environment, the time is ripe for the present business schools to revamp their offerings, through proper alignment of their objective with that of the industry, in order to conform to the requirements of the Academia-Industry Interface.”


It added that the session was in line with the college’s vision to better prepare its students to tackle the job market. “Through experience and knowledge sessions similar to these, students at The British College gain an insight to real world knowledge that is vital for their future.”
