KATHMANDU, August 3: The second meeting of the ruling alliance is to finalise the common minimum program and the government operation work procedures today.
The task force held intensive discussions on this topic when it met at the Prime Minister's residence at Baluwatar today morning. It is said preparations have been made to finalise this topic and submit it to the top leaders today itself.

The second meeting of the task force is taking place at 4.30pm today, said Keshav Raj Joshi, the member-secretary of the task force.
He said the first meeting of the task force started at 8AM and continued until around 12.30PM.
Task force convenor and Nepali Congress General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka and Dr Minendra Rijal and Ramesh Lekhak from the Nepali Congress, Dev Gurung and Barshaman Pun from the CPN(Maoist Centre) and Rajendra Shrestha and Mahendra Raya Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi Party attended the meeting.
The taskforce will prepare the common minimum program incorporating the priorities, and the policies and programs of the coalition government and implementation of federalism, among other topics.
It is said the government will get a full shape within one or two days after the task force finalises the common minimum programme today.
