Tansen Bazar closed,mourning deaths of 14 in Humin bus accident

PALPA June 3:The Tansen Bazar in Palpa was closed today to mourn the fatal bus accident occurred at Humin of Rambha Rural Municipality last Friday, killing 14 people. The local business community decided to close their business on their own will, aggrieving the losses of valuable lives in the accident.

PALPA June 3:The Tansen Bazar in Palpa was closed today to mourn the fatal bus accident occurred at Humin of Rambha Rural Municipality last Friday, killing 14 people. The local business community decided to close their business on their own will, aggrieving the losses of valuable lives in the accident.


Palpa Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Mohan Prasad Shrestha was among those killed in the accident. Others deceased are Krishna Bahadur Bohara, Chief of the Division Cooperative Office, Palpa and office-bearers of Tansen-based Laxmi Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited.

The bus (Lu 1 Kha 975) skidded off the road and fell around 150 meters down at Dharadi forest as it was heading towards Rampur, carrying cooperative people for an observation tour. 


According to District Cooperatives Association's secretary Bishnu Bamrel, the district-based cooperatives were also closed today, mourning the tragic deaths of cooperative people.
