GORKHA, Nov 8: Political parties involved in the democratic alliance have demanded legal action against the gunman arrested in Bhimsen Rural Municipality in Gorkha.
Filing a complaint at the office of the returning officer, the group maintained that carrying a gun by an electoral candidate is against the election code of conduct.
They filed a complaint at Chief Returning Officer Basanta Raj Paudel before they met with Chief District Officer whom they urged to create environment free of fear for the elections by nabbing the gunmen.
Holding a press conference at the district headquarters, political parties associated with the democratic alliance have accused the local administration of not showing interest in nabbing the pistol holder.
