Electoral alliance with democratic forces likely in the upcoming polls: Chairman Madhav Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 21: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that an electoral alliance among the democratic forces could take place in the upcoming elections to safeguard the constitution, and democratic norms and values.

KATHMANDU, March 21: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that an electoral alliance among the democratic forces could take place in the upcoming elections to safeguard the constitution, and democratic norms and values.


At a program organized in the party central office to welcome newcomers in the CPN (Unified Socialist) on Sunday, Chairperson Nepal stated that the agents of progressive changes should be made winners by defeating the regressive forces in the elections. He also said his party is advancing its political journey by keeping the country and people at the center.

“Due to the dissolution of the House of Representatives by the UML leadership in the past, they are not agents of change. Rather, they are examples of regressive character,” he reminded while adding that the UML’s leaders are going downwards because of their failure to accept the flaws.


The former Prime Minister also appealed to his leaders and cadres to carry on their politics by upholding the values of honesty, integrity and dedication.


During the event, more than 60 youths of CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Center) from Bigu Rural Municipality of Dolakha district joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).
