The UML leader said, “If Girija Prasad Koirala himself does not request to defer it, Sujata will take oath of office on Thursday.” [break]
When the leader was reminded of the growing opposition within the NC about her leading the party into the government, he said, “Prime Minister also has his limitations and he cannot ignore the request of Girija Prasad Koirala unless the party forces him to rethink,” he said.
The Prime Minister is learnt to have made up the mind to swear in Koirala as a minister following his meeting with former Prime Minister and senior NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and another NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula this morning.
“May be they conveyed Girijababu´s message to the prime minister,” he said.
But the UML leader wasn´t sure if she would be sworn in as a foreign minister.
