During the meeting, Koirala urged Hasina to play an active role in promoting women in politics through International Conference for Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
Koirala is currently is the vice chairperson of ICAPP, Women´s Wing. During the meeting, both leaders underscored the need to strengthen physical connectivity, economic cooperation and transit between Nepal and Bangladesh. Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh Hari Kumar Shrestha was also present on the occasion.
