KATHMANDU, April 28: Chairman of Terai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) Mahantha Thakur said a constitution promulgated by left party coalition will not be acceptable to his party.

He said his party was against the extension of the Constituent Assembly tenure.

The current government has not been serious to take the peace process to its logical conclusion and to institutionalize federalism, therefore there is no alternative of Madesh Andolan, said Thakur.

He said the Unified CPN (Maoist) was trying to capture power creating various obstacles in peace process and constitution writing.
