Speaker Nembang calls on PM Bhattarai

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Chairman of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Subas Nembang met with Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai on Tuesday and drawn latter´s attention regarding the continuous House obstruction.



The main opposition parties--Nepali Congress and CPN-UML- as well as other small parties have been obstructing the Legislature-Parliament meetings for the sixth times, demanding to withdraw the government decision of legalizing the land dealings transaction made by the Maoist´s people government formed during the wartime.[break]



Speaker Nembang told journalists that during the meeting Prime Minister Bhattarai assured that works of peace process and constitution writing will be resumed at the earliest by holding talks with the opposition parties.



Nembang informed Prime Minister Bhattarai that voices of people would be obstructed as well as important bills have been piled up due to House proceedings obstruction.
