KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce has entered into collaboration with Coventry University, UK.


Ranked 13th in the Guardian University league table 2019, the collaboration is determined to deliver undergraduate programs, namely Bsc (Hons) Computing and Bsc(Hons) Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking in Kathmandu as per a press statement released by Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce on Wednesday.

According to the Campus Chief, Pramod Poudel, these undergraduate courses will commence from February 2019 and admissions will start immediately after the official launch tonight at Annapurna Hotel, Durbar Marg. Students securing a minimum of 50 percent or equivalent at their high school examination may apply. 


Poudel further added that students who complete either of these courses will receive the same award and recognition as a student who completes this course in the UK. On future plans, Chairman Bigyan Shrestha stressed on developing this education institution as one of the premium technology institution in the whole of South Asia, thus attracting foreign students as well.


The undergraduate programs being delivered at Softwarica College are global in orientation and students will have the opportunity to access the latest study materials alongside increased cultural proficiency and knowledge of global issues in technology. Softwarica College, with experience of providing British Education since 2010, is very confident in maintaining the quality standards at par with Coventry University, UK, the press statement stated.
