KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Nepal Open Snooker Championship will begin at the covered hall of National Sports Council on Tuesday.
The event to be held in knockout format will conclude on October 27.
According to the tournament coordinator Subash Shrestha, the event will feature 98 male players.
The winner will be rewarded with purse of Rs 101,000 and the runner-up will walk home with Rs 50,000.
Similarly, the joint third place finishers will be given Rs 15,000 each. Meanwhile, the highest breaker will be given Rs 10,000.
