Two police personnel had misbehaved with locals after falling off a motorcycle they were riding. The police personnel had verbally abused locals and threatened them when they were giving well-meant advice to the two after they fell off the motorcycle, according to Krishna Chaudhari, a local.
Locals staged sit-in in front of the police office throughout Saturday night. The situation calmed down after police officials assured that the incident will be investigated and departmental action taken against the two.
Locals of Madi have faced numerous cases of abuse at the hands of security personnel.
