BIRATNAGAR Feb 14: A single candidacy was registered for the post of Deputy Speaker in Province-1. 
CPN (Maoist Centre) province assembly member Saraswoti Pokharel registered her candidacy at Province Secretariat this afternoon. Her candidacy has been proposed by Ram Kumar Rai and seconded by Indra Mani Pokharel. 

Pokharel, who was elected province assembly member from Sunsari district, is politburo member of the CPN (MC).
