DHANGADI, July 20: Terming the government's approach toward Dr Govinda KC as inhuman, the main opposition party Nepali Congress on Friday stalled the provincial assembly meeting in Province 7. No sooner had the assembly meeting begun, the lawmakers rose from their seats and started chanting slogans. They did not pay heed to the Speaker Arjun Thapa's repeated requests to calm down. Thapa then announced that the assembly would not resume before 3 pm Monday. The lawmakers had stalled the assembly proceeding as instructed by their party.
