Simrik Air expands fleet

KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Simrik Air has taken delivery of first of the three Airbus AS 350 B3E helicopter. Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the helicopter operator said the helicopter costing Rs 260 million will be used in rescue and relief works during natural disaster and for tourism related activities.

Simrik Air and signed agreement with Airbus Helicopters Company Singapore to buy three helicopters on July 22.

"The helicopter has eight comfortable seats perfect to enjoy aerial view," the statement added. The remaining two helicopters will joint our fleet very soon, the company added.
