BHOJPUR, March 8: Shram Sanskriti Party candidate Dhrubaraj Rai is leading the vote count in Bhojpur in the House of Representatives election, according to the latest results.

Rai has secured 14,241 votes so far. CPN-UML candidate Sherdhan Rai is trailing with 12,322 votes, while Nepali Congress candidate Bal Krishna Thapa is in third position with 8,209 votes, said Chief Election Officer Dikendra Subedi.
A total of 58,167 votes were cast in the constituency out of 125,766 registered voters. Altogether, 12 candidates from different political parties are contesting in the constituency.
