KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Keeping in view the hardships faced by them, Nepal Police has decided to distribute fuel without any hassles to people above 70 and those with physical disability every Monday.

According to Nepal Police Headquarters, the septuagenarians and disabled will be provided fuel from 10 AM to 4 PM every Monday. The police will provide fuel to those with the physical disability from its headquarters and the senior citizens will get the fuel from Samakhushi-based Mahalaxmi petrol pump.

While the physically-disabled will have to show their driving license, the septuagenarians will be required to carry driving license as well as documents that reveal their age. In addition, they will get the fuel only of they reach the petrol pumps driving themselves. Since the past couple of months, long queue of cars and motorbikes have formed outside petrol pumps because of the fuel crisis resulting from the border blockade, making lives difficult for Nepalese people.
