Scores flock to Maharajgunj as Dr KC’s health deteriorates

KATHMANDU, March 31: The health condition of Dr KC, who is staging a fast-unto-death against medical mafia, is deteriorating. The doctors have advised him to avoid talking and meeting with visitors.

The doctors attending to KC have said anything may happen at any time. Dr Bidya Singh has suggested to him to avoid talking to the people.

With KC’s health worsening, a taskforce member of Save Institute of Medicine (IOM), Save KC, Suman Acharya told Republica that the visitors are being allowed to have a glance at KC only from the window.
On the 10th day of his hunger-strike, over 1000 people have flocked to TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj to express solidarity with Dr KC after the government failed to address the demands raised by KC.
