“I and my friend Sazeena Karki decided to start Sattva, as the accessories and apparels available in shopping malls in the valley are very highly priced and are slowly going out of the reach of middle class people. We are providing quality products at reasonable price mainly targeting the middle class customers,” said Shreedeep Rayamajhi, one of the proprietors of Sattva - the Stylebook. “In doing so, we are promoting ´Made in Nepal´ products.”
Once can find more than 50 varieties of products, including t-shirts and pants for men, accessories, tops, t-shirts and kurthis among others for women and fashion related electronic items such as hair dryers and hair removers in Sattva´s catalogue.
The accessories are priced between Rs 275 and Rs 1,300, while men´s t-shirt and pants are available at Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 respectively. Similarly, women´s wear cost in the range of Rs 400 to Rs 1,700 and electronic items are priced between Rs 825 to Rs 1,600.

Once the detail is sent, customers will get the product delivered at their doorsteps within few hours.
“We charge Rs 100 per delivery. If customers want to pick up the product themselves, they can pick it from Tinkune,” said Rayamajhi.
Rita Gurung, who has already bought seven items from Sattva -- The Stylebook, said the concept of shopping in Nepal is gradually changing. “It is good that we get quality products at cheaper price at our home itself,” she added.
Though Sattva - The Stylebook was opened just about a week ago, it has already sold around 80 units of apparels and accessories.
“We are planning to launch our website in the near future so that customers who do not use Facebook can buy our products,” said Rayamajhi.
