KATHMANDU, April 7: The government has appointed Kiran Pandit, an executive director at Nepal Rastra Bank, as the bank’s new deputy governor.

The Cabinet decided on Tuesday to elevate Executive Director Pandit to the deputy governor position.
The NRB had two vacant deputy governor posts following the retirements of Bam Bahadur Mishra and Neelam Dhungana Timsina.
