Sat sees transaction worth Rs 30m

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: ICT Association of Nepal, organizer of the ongoing ICT Info-Trade, said transactions on Saturday alone nearly touched Rs 30 million on the third day of the event.



Customers at the branding expo, which kicked off on Thursday, showed interest in products like laptop, mobile and solar lights. [break]



Coordinator of the expo C N Upadhyaya said from Sunday there would be a special discount for visitors coming with the family. “We will issue five tickets for Rs 200 for people coming with the family,” he added.



The entry fee for students is Rs 50 whereas for the general people, it is Rs 100.



The event features two different types of stalls - one for branding and another for sales.



Out of the 130 stalls, 40 stalls are for branding and 70 for trade.



The event, which will last till Monday, features latest gadgets including equipment to make conventional monitor smart, 3G data card, mobile security equipment, 3G monitor, networking solution and so on.
