Almost 30 Nepali students from the University of Science and Technology, Chittagong were also among the audience. Many of them claimed 'Sarjamin' was the first play they had ever watched and their experience was wonderful.A student Santosh Shrestha from Morang stated, "It was a great play. And I'm not saying this because it's from Nepal, but because it was really good. We're all feeling proud that we got this opportunity to watch a Nepali play while we are abroad. The play was so good we didn't know where the time went."
Another student Alka Majgaya said that the whole experience was similar to watching a film. "The first five minutes, I felt like I was watching a play, but then later it started to feel like I was watching a film. It was a really enjoyable experience. Our theater scene has really improved a lot."
Appreciation for the play was not limited to the Nepali audiences alone. For the Bengali theater lovers, the stellar performances of the actors were the highlight of the play. Despite the language barrier, the audiences understood the play thanks to the actors' performances.
Rizwan Hussein, who runs a business selling sweaters, praised the actors' energy as well as their talent.
Theater director Ashish Das from Kolkata in India also commended the actors' performances.
