KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha has criticised the government for failing to adequately communicate its response to the Bhotekoshi disaster.
Writing on social media on Tuesday, Shrestha said it was “disappointing” that people had to wait for the prime minister’s Facebook posts every evening to find out what the government was doing to respond to the disaster.

He said Prime Minister Balendra Shah should have called an all-party meeting following the disaster, but had failed to do so.
Shrestha said the entire country was standing with the government during the Bhotekoshi disaster and urged everyone to support its efforts to respond to the crisis.
