Talking briefly to journalists at the Tribhuwan International Airport, he said the seminar will review south Asian security, its strengthening, violent activities, and controlling terrorism, as well as roles to be played by NGOs and civil society.[break]
He said he will inform the international community on Nepal’s peace process; and problems faced by Nepal from the terror activities of the past as well as the peace process.
He also informed that he will participate in the senior tennis competition in India and in the same competition to be held in Thailand while returning. His visit will be of four weeks.
Chairman Thapa while expressing worries over the delayed peace process, demanded election for fresh mandate.
Thapa said as there was error in the beginning of peace process, it could not reach conclusion, and that violence and impunity flourished. He informed that this party will organize awareness programs after the Chhath festival.
