KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Rabindra Mishra, the former chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, has joined the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). Mishra joined RPP Kathmandu during an event on Wednesday.
With this, the much talked-about unification between RPP and Rabindra Mishra’s group has been accomplished. RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and Mishra have signed the Declaration of Unification.
RPP and Rabindra Mishra Group to unite on Wednesday
According to the announcement, Mishra will be the senior vice-chairman of RPP, while the other leaders who came along with Mishra will be adjusted in the party’s work performance committee, officials and central committee within a week. Similarly, a 4-member task force has been formed for the integration in the provincial and other committees.
Mishra joined RPP with the position of Senior Vice Chairman, ranking after RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden. Earlier on Monday, Mishra had also resigned as a general member of Bibeksheel Sajha Party. Mishra is preparing to fight the upcoming election to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-1.
