KATHMANDU, March 27: Opposition parties have once again obstructed the National Assembly meeting today, demanding a response from Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli regarding the dismissal of Kulman Ghising from the position of Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). In response, Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal adjourned the meeting for one hour.
National Assembly Speaker Dahal urged for the continuation of the meeting. However, speaking on behalf of the opposition parties, CPN Unified Socialist MP Beduram Bhusal demanded a response from the PM.

Similarly, Nepali Congress MP Krishna Prasad Sitoula urged the ruling party not to create obstruction, stressing that the replacement bill should not be allowed to reach a stage where it cannot be certified.
Urging not to create an obstruction, it was argued that halting the process of the replacement bill would result in failing to fulfill their responsibilities.
Despite repeatedly urging to resume the session by taking their seats, opposition lawmakers maintained their obstruction, prompting Chairman Dahal to announce the adjournment of the meeting for one hour.
