Royalists encircle Morang CDO office

BIRATNAGAR, May 23: Royalists encircled the District Administration Office, Morang, demanding that a referendum be held to decide the fate of monarchy.



In Biratnagar, they took out a rally calling for restoration of monarchy and Hindu state.



RPP-Nepal headed by Kamal Thapa on Sunday handed over a memorandum to Morang CDO to forward it to CA chairman. The activists shouted pro-monarchy slogans at the main gate of the CDO office.



In the memorandum, RPP has demanded that a date for new CA election be also declared.
