Chairman Lingden also expressed his frustration at assertions that former King Shah and monarchists were involved in anti-democratic activities, calling such accusations baseless. He went on to question the government and the ruling parties, asking, “Is it democratic to release individuals accused of heinous crimes from prison, transfer government land in Baluwatar to private individuals’ ownership, label Nepalis as fake Bhutanese refugees, and engage in large-scale gold smuggling?”
