BHARATPUR, Nov 20: A Royal Bengal tiger has been found dead in Chitwan this morning in Hariyali Community Forest under the central area of Chitwan National Park located in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-27.
Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, information officer of the Chitwan National Park, said that a female tiger, approximately seven years old, was found dead. Tiwari said that it is assumed that the tiger died after fighting with another tiger. A technical team of the park has conducted a post-mortem of the dead tiger.
According to the census in 2022, there are 128 Royal Bengal tigers in Chitwan National Park.
