SG Global, the authorized distributor of Mahindra Two-wheelers, introduced the 125 cc scooter in the Nepali market amid a function on Wednesday.[break]
According to the company, Rodeo RZ is a modern and stylish scooter with additional features compared to other Mahindra scooters.
Gajanan B Umarekar, regional business manager of Mahindra Two-wheelers, said the Rodeo RZ is perfect for young urban couple as it is a zippy and trendy scooter with a host of unique modern features. “The scooter redefines the concept of riding, making it a sheer pleasure,” said Umarekar.
Rodeo RZ has 125 cc advanced Z-series engine with a new Dual Curve Digital Ignition (DCDI) system which automatically adjusts fuel consumption according to the load on the scooter. As per the Automotive Research Association of India <https://www.araiindia.com/> testing, the bike can deliver mileage up to 59.38 km per liter.
“Rodeo RZ is a futuristic and modern scooter with class defining features and we are confident that Nepali customers are looking forward to such new products,” Shahil Agrawal, managing director of SG Global, said. “Rodeo is the highest selling model from Mahindra Two-wheelers and the R&D team has worked so hard for the new RZ model.”
The scooter is equipped with an advanced telescopic front suspension and swing arm rear suspension. It has high ground clearance making the ride feel comfortable even in toughest roads and advanced digital dashboard with a tachometer, trip meter, acceleration timer, odometer, speedometer, over speed alarm, fuel gauge, clock and a side stand buzzer.
“The digital dashboard in Rodeo RZ has a stylish 7-color interchangeable backlit panel; mobile phone, iPod and MP3 player charger, and 4-in-1 anti theft key. In addition to that it has ample storage, under- seat light, side stand buzzer and body colored mirrors,” the company said in a statement.
Price at Rs 164,900, the scooter is available in seven exciting colors -- electric green, flame orange, mystique violet, derby red, onyx blue, fiery black and pearl white.
The scooter will be available through a network of 32 dealers across all major cities of the country. SG Global will provide complete after sales support to the scooter. The company is opening a new workshop in Naxal within two weeks.
