They robbed Rs 94,000 in cash, a tola of gold and 200 tolas of silver from the houses of Dhanpati Yadav and Ganapati Yadav, according to the police.
The Yadavs complained that the police did not take prompt action when informed about the incident.
The local police office at Golabjar and the Armed Police post at Golbajar are both about a kilometer west from the crime scene.
