PALPA, May 9: The up-gradation of Birkot-Gejha-Bardale road section has completed. Locals joined their hands to upgrade the road linking Birkot of Purbakhola rural municipality-5 and Gejha of Rampur municipality-10.
Locals had donated cash and kind labor for the purpose. Purbakhola rural municipality had provided Rs 1.4 million while locals had donated kind labor worth Rs 214,842 for the road construction, informed Jag Bahadur Jargha, secretary of the local user committee.

Locals had been bearing the brunt of the decrepit condition of the road. Even people were facing troubles in their daily movement due to road condition.
