KATHMANDU, Mar 1: Samik Badal, president of the UML-affiliated student wing, ANNFSU, criticized Mayor Balendra Shah’s Facebook post about the Prime Minister, urging him to work with the minister directly instead of using social media.

In a Facebook post, Badal urged the mayor to coordinate with the minister instead of posting status updates. He wrote, "With no executive in Kathmandu, Mayor Shah has had to complain to the Prime Minister! Should he coordinate with the minister or vent frustrations on Facebook? Hurry up and send the administrative officer, or else Mayor Balen Shah will be forced to post a new status next Friday!"
