KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Paragon Public School is set to hold the third edition of the Road Race on Saturday in the capital with events featuring three categories--open (men and women), students (boys and girls) and an event comprising of guardians and teachers. All three sections will be of five kilometer, according to the host.

The first, second and third place winners in the open section will bag Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively. Winners, runners-up and third position holders will get Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 in the remaining sections. The host claimed that nearly 3,500 people are expected to take part in the event. Meanwhile, the school will honor ultra-marathoner Mira Rai with Rs 35,000 during the event.
